You love setting up games, movies and meals outside and you want to bring some of that carefree attitude inside. Here’s how to bring a little outside in.

1 Make it Lit
Festive outdoor lights that line pathways and decorate awnings give a warm glow to parties.  To set the tone for entertaining, opt for candlelight in sconces or hurricane lamps indoors (just keep a watchful eye on them).

2 Create Living Artwork
Gazing at the garden while swinging in a hammock defines lazy summer days. An easy way to bring greenery in is setting up a peg wine rack that doubles as a living wall. It softens linear architecture and feels instantly lived-in.

3 Stack Up the Pillows
Part of the fun of relaxing in your backyard is the informal, comfortable seating. Pillows make it extra cozy. Bring patterned pillows inside for that year-round feeling.

4 Use Rugs to Define A Space
Anchoring a patio with a rug helps define an outdoor dining area. Plus, it invites you to take your shoes off. Inside use natural materials like sisal or silk.
