Smoked Oyster Salad
These hors d’oeuvres pack an almighty punch of flavour in one small bite. Canned oysters provide an easy short-cut to this recipe.
1 tin of smoked oysters in oil
Hot sauce to taste
¼ cup (32g) diced onion
¼ cup (32g) chopped cilantro
2 tbsp (30ml) ketchup
1 tbsp (15ml) sriracha
1 tsp (5ml) sweet chili sauce
2 tbsp (30ml) freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice
1. Combine hot sauce, onion, cilantro, ketchup, sriracha, sweet chili sauce and fresh lemon or lime juice in a bowl. Add the smoked oysters and mix to coat.
2. Serve on crackers, garnished with watercress leaves.
