Hilton Garden Inn Toronto Airport, Toronto, Canada
VIBE
Airport hotels are always busy. At all times. This popular stop is no exception, but while at some hotels, travel stress is permeable, here you wouldn’t notice. Arriving late, in the large lobby, the check-in process is quick and efficient, so that I can still grab a bite, head up to my room and have a nice night sleep prior to my early flight the next morning. Travellers seeking to keep fit during their stay will love the Hilton x Peleton availability. EV chargers are available on site.
DINING
A small shop next to the check-in desk conveniently sells drinks and snacks, so you can stock up last minute for carryon. Dixon kitchen and bar serves well prepared gastropub faves like chicken wings, burgers, steak, and fish and chips. Fresh old bay crab cakes were seasoned perfectly and crisp and the red Thai chicken curry, packed with vegetables and protein, had just the right amount of heat.
ROOM
Modern. Clean. Efficient. A welcome amenity service with libations, complete with proprietary Dixon vodka and local wine, is a nice touch to help relax. Guests can check into a premium room with drink and snacks included. Two incredibly comfortable Garden Sleep system queen beds, ample workspace and a bright bathroom round out the 365 square foot space. A microwave, mini fridge and Keurig coffee maker are convenient for families and guests on the go.
SERVICE
Staff is courteous and efficient. A busload of wedding attendees travelling to the Caribbean were thrilled that the shuttle was on time (for pickup and drop-off to the airport), as the drive is about one kilometer to the airport.
BOTTOM LINE
A great airport hotel with great food and courteous staff.
