OH SHE GLOWS

Nothing says so long to that tired winter complexion like bronzer. For the Julien Macdonald show, Clara Anderson, Vita Liberata VIP Tanning Artist “wanted high-definition, glowing skin to compliment the luxurious, metallic collection.” Start by prepping the skin with a hydrating mist to create the base for tanning. Use a spray tan to warm the complexion and even skin tone. Take skin from sun kissed to supermodel finish with an instant bronzer. “[It] boosts skin tone, provides coverage, as well as elongating and contouring limbs with its knockout glow – it’s like an Instagram filter,” says Anderson.

PONYTAIL KNOT

Amika Lead Stylist Esther Langham created a modern ponytail for Ulla Johnson’s SS 2019 show. To get the look dampen hair and apply mousse around the hairline. Blow-dry using a flat brush to create a smooth hairline.  Create a center part and create two sections from the crown to behind the ear. Use styling cream from the roots through the mid shafts of the hair to maintain control of the hair and help create more definition in the finished look. Once the product is applied, take the top two sections and tie together to create a knot. Create two more sections (leaving a small section of hair out towards the nape), apply additional styling cream and create another knot incorporating the hair from the previous sections. Create a ponytail with all remaining hair and tie with an elastic band. Use a fixing product to smooth any flyaways as needed.
