One: Translate App
Use the Translate app on iPhone as a personal interpreter. Select the language, enter text, tap the microphone icon, and speak while the app translates. You can even translate text (street signs, restaurant menus). Tap “Camera,” select language, and point your iPhone at the text. The app translates the text in real time as you move the camera.
Two: Offline Map
Headed to Paris? Download an offline map before you travel, so you can navigate the city even without WiFi or cellular service (or spotty service). While offline, you can access turn-by-turn directions for driving, walking, transit, and cycling. Plus, you can see your estimated time of arrival, and find places in Maps with detailed information.
Three: Maps
Did you know Maps feature thousands of curated guides to cities around the world? These helpful guides include great places to eat, shop, and explore. Get inspired with PRIOR’s best Parisian boulangeries, or Louis Vuitton’s recommendations to make the most of 24-hours in Paris.
Four: Apple Pay
Instead of carrying multiple credit cards, or cash in hand, ahead of travelling, ensure Apple Pay has been enabled for an easy, secure, and private way to pay online, in-store, and in-app using your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad or Mac so you can pick up those raspberry macarons in seconds!
