1 Why It Works

2 Get the Look
Blow dry hair. Create a deep side part in front of the face adding volume throughout the hair. Only at the back of the root use a crimping iron to create lift and volume at the crown.
Apply a texture spray through the hair and back comb the crown area. Smooth hair over the bouffant for a seamless finish and spray to hold the style.

3 Insider Tip
For a more defined and fun look, add bobby pins or barrettes to each side of the hair.
4 On the Runway
At Jason Wu the hair was cropped or slicked back to give ample room for the high voltage makeup to shine. While at Coach the hair was looser but still polished, at Michael Kors the side part was exaggerated, obscuring nearly half the face. Veronica Beard channeled the sixties with hair that reached heavenward .
