You, Me, Pilates in the Austrian Alps? This Nature Resort Just launched immersive retreats

Moar Gut Family Nature Resort in Austria’s breathtaking Großarl Valley has expanded its wellness offering with the launch of a brand-new Pilates studio and a series of immersive Pilates retreats.

This elevated fitness experience invites guests to explore mindful movement in harmony with nature, through Reformer Pilates, Mountain Pilates, and dedicated multi-day retreats. Pilates is more than just a workout; it’s a restorative journey that builds strength, encourages presence, and aligns body and spirit amidst the serenity of the Alps.

Reformer Pilates

Moar Gut has partnered with Bondi Studios, Salzburg’s modern Pilates concept, to bring expertly guided Reformer Pilates sessions to the resort’s bespoke movement space. Led by highly trained instructors, classes focus on breath, alignment, and controlled, intentional movement. Guests can choose from private or small-group classes, tailored to all experience levels, from complete beginners to seasoned practitioners. The maximum group size is just five participants, ensuring guests have a personalised and exclusive session.

Group Pilates sessions are €35 for 60 minutes, and private classes are €150.

Pilates Retreat

For those seeking deeper immersion, Moar Gut now offers two- and three-night Pilates retreats in collaboration with Bondi Studios. Rooted in Bondi’s mindful movement philosophy, each retreat includes a balanced programme of daily Pilates and yoga sessions, guided alpine walks, and relaxation in Moar Gut’s expansive spa. With dedicated childcare included, parents can fully engage in the retreat while their children enjoy enriching nature-based activities.

Special retreat rate available at €450 per adult and €140 per child (up to 14 years), with a minimum suite price of €850 per night, including all Moar Gut services, bookable for 2 or 3 nights in a family suite.

Mountain Pilates

Unique to Moar Gut, Mountain Pilates takes place on an open-air platform with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. Limited to two guests, these deeply personalised sessions combine Bondi’s signature dynamic approach with the rhythm of the mountains. Whether shared with a partner, friend, or child, this is not just a fitness class but a moment of connection, stillness, and alpine wonder.

Mountain Pilates sessions are €430 for 60 minutes.

Rates start from €630 for a double room and up to €2800 for a luxury suite, including gourmet full board and professional childcare.
