Packing for a jaunt can be daunting, even if you are a frequent flyer.  CSL has put together our most favourite jet-setter tricks that will save you time and money!

1/ STOP DROP AND ROLL Did you know that rolling your clothes takes up significantly less space?  Tightly roll pieces so that you can fit more in your suitcase.

2/  VALUE YOUR VALUABLES Never pack jewelry in your checked bag.  If your luggage ever gets lost, you can rest assured that your valuables will be safe if you pack them in your carry on.

3/   TAKE THE CHILL OFF Always board planes with a scarf.  They can double as a blanket – it gets cold at 30,000 feet!

CHECKLIST BASICS

Vanity kit: Toothbrush, toothpaste, brush, your favourite makeup, medicine.

Electronics: cameras, smart phones, and laptops should ideally be packed in your carry on, each in their own pouch including all cords and cables.

Passport, ID, money: always carry a photocopy of your passport.  Pack in your coat pocket.
