1/ Red Hot Romantic
The colour of passion was splashed all over the runways.
2/ Quilted & Padded
Donned by outdoor hunting enthusiasts in the wilds of yesteryear, and hinting at duvet coverlet bedding, these original army liners emphasized comfort and warmth, often insulated with down. Today, they can be worn as jumpsuits, dresses, skirts, full-length coats and scarves in addition to the cropped, straight-cut jacket.
3/ (Faux) Leather
Nothing says I’m not to be messed with like leather. The ultimate statement piece of biker-girls everywhere, it always spells sexy. This season feminine flourishes played up its allure with cinched waists, short skirts, poufy sleeves, palazzo pants and colour.
4/ Pleats
This is not a revisit of your grandmother’s prim and proper garment folds but a complete revamp. Think sheer fabric for peek-a-boo silhouettes, halter tops to emphasize toned arms, daring slits to reveal gorgeous gams and mini skirts to show off sky-high heels. Demure, this is not!
