François Longpré and Sylvain Cote have created a mouth-watering mecca for cooking enthusiasts in Laurieur Ouest in Montreal. From kitchen tools (even those devoted exclusively to left handed cooks), tajines, pots, books, and even a cool porcelain water purifier made in Quebec.

All cooking classes and events are displayed on an oversized chalkboard near the entrance. Les Touilleurs is elegance at its best with a streamlined look and cream coloured backdrop.

A recipient of the 2004 Canadian National Retailer of the Year Award for Outstanding Excellence in Retail and winner of the Grand Prix du Jury from Commerce Design Montréal in 2003 makes this a shop not to miss (plus Longpré’s smile alone is worth the trip).
