Summer is all about going barefoot.  Follow CSL’s easy three-step guide to keeping your feet looking good all season.

1/ PREP
Get your feet ready with a warm foot bath. To make your own combine 3 cups warm water, 1 cup warm milk, and 1 tsp of almond oil.  Add a few drops of your favourite essential oil like sweet and floral ylang ylang or vibrant grapefruit.  Soak feet for 10 minutes.

2/ BUFF
Get rid of dead skin with a gentle buff.  Use the natural scrub recipe below, and rub all over feet, paying careful attention to toes and heels.  If you have calluses, try using a foot file.

3/ PAMPER
Slather your feet in a buttery and rich cream to seal in moisture.  For an extra boost to keep feet soft, coat feet in your favourite cream before bedtime, and slip on a pair of socks.  The following day, your feet will feel pillowy soft.

Natural Scrub

Nourish your soles with this easy to make at home and gentle exfoliating scrub

¾ cup brown sugar
1 tbsp table or kosher salt
1 tsp olive oil
2-3 drops lavender or peppermint oil

Mix all ingredients to form a paste, gently exfoliate feet.  Rinse.
