What do you never leave home without when travelling?

My Frye Harness Boots

What is always on rotation on your ipod?

Nitty Gritty Dirtband – Fishing in the Dark

Favourite city for design

Chicago

What was your last holiday?

I went to Ireland, Scotland and Amsterdam with my best friend last spring. I am definitely due for another vacation – I completely missed summer!

Favourite way to relax?

By a campfire with friends if that’s not possible gardening on my patio

What are your favourite beach reads?

Design Magazines! Elle Décor, Metropolitan Home & Style at Home

What has been your favourite souvenir?

Oh I have so many! I would say a piece of art that I bought in Spain. I was only $2 but I had it beautifully framed and it looks like it’s worth thousands

What three items are always in your luggage?

Frye Boots, Mini Speakers, Workout gear

Favourite hotel in the world?

EME Cathedral Hotel in Seville Spain.  Just so unique – you can almost touch the ancient cathedral.  Roof top pool … Simply the best.

What destination has surprised you the most?

Ireland. I never in a millions years would have expected it to be so beautiful and so rich with fabulous people and history.

Most memorable travel moment?

Sitting on the plane with my mom in 1984 on my first trip to Hawaii.  It was a girls trip and things were so different back then. We were so dressed up and in the fancy section of the plane, of course everyone was smoking and socializing – I just remember how grown up I felt and how adventurous me and my mama were.
