There are several free activities on property including ‘smores nights, daily yoga, a volleyball court and even a putting green. The resort is also undergoing a major renovation set to be complete by 2017 which will include meeting space, a bar and grill, additional villas and a saltwater lagoon.

On the south shore a short distance from Poipu beach and the shops at Kukui’ula, this 25-acre resort offers the largest accommodation on Kauai. The villas here are modern, with touches of the tropics woven into the decor.

Koloa Landing has 98 villas including 1 to 4 bedroom floor plans with 1 300 to 3600 square feet of living space. Our three bedroom villa was luxurious: free wifi; a flat screen television in every room including the living room; and each bedroom has an adjoining full bath. With a full gourmet chef’s kitchen, laundry room, an ultra cool wrap-around, open air lanai (balcony), tables and chairs for outdoor dining, there is more than enough room for a few couples or a multi-generational family. Best of all, our three-bedroom villa spanned an entire floor with a semi-private elevator opening right at our door. Thanks to all of the living space amenities, the resort feels immediately comfortable.

Relaxed, casual, family-oriented
With a relaxed, casual vibe and modern comforts the resort appeals to families – kids and parents swim at the pools, couples dine on their balconies, and grandparents play amidst the beautiful landscaping and lawns.
