Flaunt your face with creative accessories that run the gamut from modern and edgy to whimsical.
There was one way to make a statement on the runway this season – a headpiece. Marchesa chose an elaborate, floral ode the sort of accessory that fairies might wear. La Perla created a seductive vision with a black birdcage veil studded with jewels covering the face. Jeremy Scott meanwhile transformed the kitschy neon boa into a fantastic hat that created a halo effect around the models’ faces. Edgy and urban, the peaked cap got a glam makeover with red feathers. It is the sort of accessory that mixes modern street wear with ancient tribal decorations.
To really let your hair accessory shine choose a simple hair style. Straight hair pulled away from the face is best! Also make sure that your makeup is relatively neutral, avoid too many bright colours all at once.
