Located in Kirchberg in Tyrol in the Austrian Alps, the two Michelin star restaurant is helmed by award winning Chef Simon Taxacher and serves up cuisine based on the Alpine ingredients from the region at the signature Rosengarten and Rosengarten Light. Our jovial waiter Thomas recommended wine pairing to accompany each dish. We first tasted the house smoked salmon salad followed by the squid ink pasta with shrimp and then the lamb shank with sautéed vegetables and olives. To finish, the sumptuous chocolate filled crepes with dark cherries and ice cream were silky and rich.
