It may be an obvious statement to say that ‘good skin is in’, but this season a flawless face starts with an impeccable base.

It may be an obvious statement to say that ‘good skin is in’, but this season a flawless face starts with an impeccable base.

YOUR LOOK
Whether you are in to dewy skin or matte, a good foundation (pun intended) is key.  We are stepping out of the 1990s inspired look of full face makeup and entering the zone of ‘real’ skin.  The era of contouring has taken a backseat to gentler makeup.

To create this look, begin with a creamy sunscreen.   Next, hide flaws (under eye circles, blemishes) with a colour correcting palatte.  Then, with a foundation brush, apply a liquid foundation all over your face.  To add a warm glow, use a gel or liquid bronzer to key areas (cheekbones, chin, bridge of the nose).  To finish the look, try strobing, or highlighting.  This makeup technique will make your skin radiant.
