MED BALL SQUAT TOSS is a great strengthening exercise that can be performed by any level. As the ball is weighted, energy is transferred from lower body into most of the upper body.
The squat toss is a total body exercise and when incorporated into a workout routine, can burn a high number of calories. You can perform this by tossing the med ball back and forth with a partner or against a wall.
In an upright position, stand with knees shoulder width apart. Bend knees slightly as you hold the medicine ball at arm’s length. Sit back with knees completely bent into a squat and then as you move into standing position, toss ball over to your partner (or against the wall). Remember to use squat position to catch the ball from your partner as well.
