The Pérez Art Museum Miami is the newest modern art museum featuring exhibitions from artists from around the world. A local tips us off to the newly opened Pérez Art Museum Miami. “Even if you don’t like art, you have to visit for the views of Biscayne Bay.” Designed by Herzog & de Meuron, the stark modernity is contrasted by enormous hanging gardens, while the veranda delivers an eye popping view of azure water and gargantuan cruise ships.

Crossing Biscayne Bay between Miami on the mainland and Miami Beach, the Venetian causeway offers stunning views of the city, especially at sunset. How to get the Miami (and especially South Beach) look?  Here are a few quick guidelines:

1. Bright neon colours pop against the white, glass buildings and blue water.  If you’re not comfortable with eye catching colour pair it with neutrals like white.

2.  Show some skin.  It can be as simply as a crotchet shirt with a tank top underneath, cutouts or crop tops.

3.  Keep to simple silhouettes.
