Motorsport fans are gearing up for this weekend’s Montréal’s Formula 1 2026 Grand Prix, May 22-24. Here are two whisky launches CSL is excited about:
Chivas Regal and Global Brand Ambassador Charles Leclerc launch Chivas Regal 16

As a great start off to Montreal’s race weekend, Chivas Regal and Global Brand Ambassador and F1 driver Charles Leclerc have just launched Chivas Regal 16 Limited-Edition.
It marks the first 16-year-old ‘expression’ in the brand’s history as well as Leclerc’s debut signature blend, developed alongside Chivas Regal Master Blender Sandy Hyslop. The release reflects a shared pursuit of precision, ambition and craftsmanship and is a tribute to constantly challenging oneself and excellence never being static but continuously shaped, refined and redefined over time.
“16 has always been more than a number to me – it’s something I’ve carried my whole career…Going to Scotland, seeing the distilleries, understanding the obsession behind every cask inspired me to create my own blend.
— Charles Leclerc, Global Brand Ambassador, Chivas Regal
What Does Chivas Regal 16 Taste Like?
On the nose, sweet honey and warm spice evoke comforting baked goods (think almond croissants), while on the tongue, spice, toasted oak and delicate marmalade reveal a velvety finish.
Chivas Regal 16 Limited-Edition will be available nationally at select retailers across Canada.
Limited-edition Glenfiddich Aston Martin 16 Year Old

This 16 Year old whisky was led by Glenfiddich’s philosophy that true mastery begins when instinct takes the lead. Similar to Formula One drivers, every decision relies on the driver’s intuitive connection with the car. It was crafted from a carefully selected marriage of American oak wine casks, new American barrels, and second-fill bourbon casks to create a rich and layered sweetness and embodies what it means to trust your senses.
What Does Glenfiddich Aston Martin 16 Year Old Taste Like?
Super smooth, with long finish and delicate sweetness, the mouthfeel is full of fresh fruit and creaminess while the nose is full of ginger spice, toasted biscuit and oak.
“Capturing the spirit of innovation and excellence.”
BRIAN KINSMAN, MALT MASTER, GLENFIDDICH
During the Formula 1 Lenovo Grand Prix du Canada weekend, Glenfiddich and the Aston Martin Formula One Team will bring forth Beyond the Track, and on track experiences, as well as invite-only events.
