Strong flavours inspired by Mediterranean roots
Luxardo cherries
The original cocktail garnish, made from Italian marasca cherries, which become sweet and sticky from maceration.
Sparkling Soda
Carbonated beverages lighten strong drinks, adding a refreshing sparkle. Great for mocktails.
Blood Orange
Sicily, in southern Italy is famous for these sweet citrus distinguished by their magenta-sepia flesh.
Amaro Nonino Quintessentia
Grappa-based (grape must brand) digestif made in northern Italy from a blend of herbs, spices and roots.
Dreamliner
The combination of bitter Amaro and Aperol is offset by sweet whisky and cherry juice, a play on the paper plane.
1 ½ oz. bourbon
1 ½ oz. Amaro Nonino
½ oz. Aperol
½ oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tsp. amorino cherry juice
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously, and pour into two martini glasses. Garnish with an amorino cherry and lemon peel.
