Switch it up this season with Spring 2023 beauty looks inspired by India’s beaches, easy-to-do hair that’ll break you out of your ponytail rut and sparkling eyes channelling the futuristic age of Aquarius.
Daring Lips: “Taking cues from Goa, which also inspired this season’s collection, I used…lipsticks to reflect the state’s rich colors of reds and oranges on the lips while the rest of the makeup was kept simple and fresh – with skin glowy and reminiscent of a holiday spent on its beaches,” offered Vincent Ford, NARS Global Makeup Artist.
If the colour is slightly too bright for work or daytime, apply to fingertips first and layer to the create the shade you want. For nighttime or when you want to amp up the Instagram appeal just apply more layers.

Mesmerizing Eyes: To create a copycat of the look from the Adeam runway, described by NARS Global Artistry Director, Sada Ito, as “a modern, edgy look to minimal makeup with a silver pearlescent accent on the eye,” begin by curling eyelashes.
Then apply a silver eyeshadow to lids focusing on rimming the tear duct followed by gently brushing loose pigment over the lids so that it becomes lighter over the brow bone. This look opens up the eyes and makes them appear larger.
Keep the rest of the face simple but finished to draw attention to the eyes, nothing else should distract.

At Selkie SS2023 the loose, soft and romantic hair look created by Linh Nguyen for amika was inspired by The Last Unicorn an 80s animated film with a dreamy, 70s-inspired vibe.
To get the look, begin by prepping hair with an oil or serum. Work in mousse to dry hair. Curl 1” horizontal subsections of hair. Spray curls with hairspray and pin to set. After the curls cool, brush out each section of hair and back-brush for body.
Smooth out look with a paddle brush and finish with hairspray. Complete the style with a crystal unicorn headband.
