TOP DESTINATIONS Major cities like Paris, London, New York, Rome and Tokyo are seeing significant increases in visitors compared to last year, with decline in visitors to: Taormina (Sicily), Napa and Amsterdam.
HOLIDAY TRAVEL Mexico, Hawaii, Anguilla, Costa Rica and Saint Barthélemy are the most sought-after destinations. Saint Lucia, the Dominican Republic and Grenada are emerging locales, with double-and triple-digit percentage increases. Travellers to Maui are up 66 percent for the holidays compared to last year.
COOLCATIONS With warming temperatures, travellers visiting cool weather destinations in northern Europe and Canada, are up 44 percent this summer, while travel to warmer spots like Italy, Greece and France, has decreased by 0.5 percent.
WELLNESS An ever-growing trend year over year. A survey revealed that 70 percent of travellers are seeking relaxation and disconnection through wellness travel and half of those are interested in hyper-personalized experiences and mental resets.
