Nobu Hospitality has just opened it’s newest property in the heart of Seville, boasting a prime location at the Plaza de San Francisco.

Set in the heart of the Andalusian capital at Plaza de San Francisco, the brand’s latest opening occupies two early 20th century residential buildings, lovingly restored to enhance their traditional architecture. Facing the plateresque façade of the City Hall, Nobu Hotel Sevilla features 25 stylish guest rooms and suites, and an expansive rooftop terrace complete with a swimming pool and dining area which boasts spectacular views of the Cathedral and Giralda. The heart of the project, the Nobu restaurant is perfectly positioned to marvel at the Roman wall built by Julius Caesar, which was discovered during the renovation.

Operated by the Mercer Hotels chain, which brings more than 10 years of experience in the management of exceptional luxury boutique hotels, the property is owned by Millenium Hospitality Real Estate SOCIMI (“MHRE”). Marking the brand’s sixth Spanish hotel, Nobu Hotel Sevilla is one of three confirmed projects between Nobu Hotels and MHRE, with openings in San Sebastian (2023) and Madrid (2024) in the pipeline.

From its signature orange blossom to spectacular architecture, Seville is truly a feast for the senses. By day wander through its cobbled streets to mingle with local craftsmen and artisans, and as the sun begins to set enjoy evenings filled with tapas and finos al fresco, all soundtracked by traditional flamenco singing. Located in the city’s historic centre, Nobu Hotel Sevilla provides a gateway to explore its copious cultural offerings. Set in the shadow of the cathedral’s eight-century old bell tower, the Giralda, the hotel is just a short walk away from the Real Alcázar (the Royal Palace), whilst in the opposite direction guests will find the famed Calle Sierpes, a bustling street lined with luxury boutiques waiting to be explored. A melting pot of Mudejar, Gothic and Renaissance architecture, today the city is also home to one of Game of Thrones most recognisable filming locations.

The hotel’s design pays homage to Nobu’s Japanese roots, whilst honouring Sevillian style. Elements of the original buildings have been preserved and the hotel designed around them, from the central glass courtyard to the staircase adorned with authentic tiles from the early twentieth century. With five room types to choose from, ranging from Deluxe to the Nobu Suite, each is luxurious yet homely and features materials inspired by the Far East with handcrafted wooden furniture to evoke a sense of warmth. All rooms are complete with rain showers, Eight & Bob amenities, and a Smart TV. In addition to the Nobu restaurant, which serves up iconic favourites including Black Cod Miso and Yellowtail Sashimi, guests can also dine at the Nobu Bar which offers light bites and creative cocktails, or at the rooftop. Other facilities include a solarium on the terrace complete with a pool to cool off in, a 24-hour gym, fit with the latest Technogym equipment, and the hotel can also serve as a meeting & events space.
