Located off of the 101 and 12 freeways in Santa Rosa, the Sonoma property is surprisingly quiet yet conveniently located, with restaurants and shops nearby, and close to both Petaluma and Healdsburg. The lobby is well designed, with a soft neutral colour palette, and use of natural material together with brass chandeliers and marble tables. The roaring fireplace and comfortable seating areas are welcoming touches. 253 rooms and suites plus 40,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space make this property ideal for weddings and conferences.
ROOM
The 325-square-foot two queen room, with desk and sitting area carries through the muted colour tone. A comfortable space, for business and leisure travellers, though it does show signs of wear.
SERVICE
Front desk staff was courteous, however a request for a microwave in the room took several phone calls, and hours to be delivered. A $18 self parking fee and $35 destination/resort fee which included access to the pool, fitness centre, yoga, bikes, bottled water, outdoor games and promotions for local wineries/shops were steep
