Remember when vegan shoes meant a slim selection of espadrilles, canvas flats and rubber flip-flops? Nae Vegan, a Portuguese brand, is changing that with a wide selection of vegan footwear and accessories for both men and women. With seasonal looks that come in a variety of modern styles and colours, the shoes are made from cork, ecological microfibers, pineapple leaves and recycled plastic bottles.
We loved the selection of women’s heels, boots, and wedges for spring 2017 with their ballet-style details, earth tones and classic styles (think brogues for strutting about town). Forget the days of chunky, unflattering styles, these are footloose and leather-free.
