How can you use manifestation to ensure a successful outcome to your 2024 New Year’s resolutions?

There’s not much difference in setting goals and manifesting. But how can you manifest your way through 2024 to ensure a successful outcome to your New Year’s resolutions? 

So what exactly does manifesting mean?

As we approach the new year with our wishes, it’s time to realign and manifest our goals with mindset and meditation expert Jennifer Neville. For starters, understanding that manifestation is an inside job – what we cultivate internally we then create externally. 

What’s the Difference between Manifesting versus setting New Year Resolutions to get what you want?

When we set resolutions we are trying to get from point A to point B, whereas manifesting is deciding that you are already at point B and letting the rest fall into place. 

What I mean by this is that, most of the time what we are working towards isn’t necessarily a thing, it’s a feeling. For example, when trying to lose weight, what we really want is just to feel good about ourselves or feel comfortable in our own bodies. 

Well, you can allow yourself to feel that right now and the rest will probably happen naturally. Right?

When we approach our resolutions from a place of “I need x – to feel x” we are coming from a place of believing that what we want is attached to something outside of us. 

This is often what leads to self-sabotage and why so many people fall off their New Year’s resolutions after a month or two, because you’re putting all your effort towards getting rid of a symptom without addressing the root.

So, how can you avoid self-sabotage and have success in your manifesting goals (from finding your perfect love to getting the job you want and everything in between) in 2024?

1. Get clear on your intentions.
What do you want to accomplish and why? What will this accomplishment bring into your life?

2. How can you give yourself this feeling now?
What can you do for yourself on a daily basis that reaffirms this feeling?

3. Letting go of old limiting patterns and beliefs.
If you want to change your life, you have to change your thoughts. Operating on an old worm out thought system is only going to manifest more of the same! 

4. Forget about the finish line.
Whether it takes you 30 days or a whole year to reach your goal, who cares? Remember it’s about the journey, not the destination.

5. Have fun!
Manifestation is about creating your experience of reality so remember to let up on yourself, so what if you fall off for week? It’s about long-term sustainability and the more fun you have with the process the easier it will be to stick to it!
